Abstract
The present study aims at studying the idea of rebirth in three of Plath's poems: "Lady Lazarus", "A Better Resurrection" and "Fever 103". In these poems, Plath envisions rebirth into a better world where she gets rid of suffering, misery and wretchedness. This better resurrection can only be achieved by annihilating her present life. This in fact what Plath did at the end of her life when she committed suicide.
