The Effect of Multi-Parsing on Semantic Expansion in Al-Zamakhshari's Al-Kashaf
Assist.
Prof. Dr. Assad Abdul-Aleem Al-Sadi
The expanasion in meaning is that one word leads several meanings for a certain purose . The holy Quran is a book which is rish in using one word with different meaning that may be desired and wantd by Glorious Allah . Multiplicity of parsing at the level of word or structure has its influence on the expansion of meaning since one word may have different aspects of parsing and each aspect has a meaning which is different from the other meaning – and all of them are required . this is secret and miraculous of the Holy Quran .

Rhetorical Images from Middle Hebrew Literature

It has been proven that the poetry of the jews of Andalysia was dependent on its Arabic counterpart . jewish artists imitated what the felt to be necessary of the Arabic literature . Theis proves the bright picture reflected by the Arab tolerance towards the Jews under the Islamic rules . Also, it shows beyond any doubt that the Arab was an active native ، not only by the power of the sound , but by the power of knowledge they had transferred to all the world.

The Image of the Femme Fatale in William Shakespeare's Macbeth
Dr.
Namiq Othman Baker
Dr.
Harith I. Turki
William Shakespeare's Macbeth is one of the most interesting yet one of the bloodiest among his plays. The interest in this play stems from the fact that its characters are among the most famous of Shakespeare's characters, due to their complexity and their equivocal nature. The complexity of the characters shows Shakespeare's mature art of characterization, which is different from his previous plays. In this play, Shakespeare presents women as capable of evil and destructive acts as men. He goes as far as suggesting that in certain instances women can be more vicious than men, and they might be the motivators of iniquitous acts. Thus, the aim of this paper is to present the image of the femme fatale which is incarnated in the character of Lady Macbeth, and the impact of her atrocious acts on the entire action of the play.

The Humanistic Values in Ernest Hemingway's 'The Old Man and the Sea' and' A Farewell to Arms '.
Farhan
Muhammad
Dera
This paper explores the humanistic values that are embodied in Ernest Hemingway's writings particularly, The Old Man and the Sea and A Farewell to Arms. The most common values are patience, fortitude, dignity, humanity, honour, pride, and friendship. The Old Man and the Sea is full of such these values throughout the events of the novella especially in the three-day struggle between Santiago and the marlin. In A Farewell to Arms, the gloomy suffering and the devastation of the war are compensated by the hope of Frederick and Catherine and their true love in the midst of the war and its tragedies. It also shows humanity and the true friendship between Henry Frederick and Rinaldi.
