Abstract
AbstractThe translation between Arabic and Hebrew has grown on two historical levels oftime, the first was in the Middle Ages, the second in modern age, and during theseperiods the Arab-Israeli conflict passed at various stages. In the first age and duringthe rule of the Muslim Arabs of Andalusia, we observe that the translation from Arabicinto Hebrew had flourished, and the influence of Arabic on Hebrew was very clear aswell as on Jewish writers and poets, insomuch some of them became imitating theArabic language in his writings, in terms of prosodies and poetic rhymes, and the useof rhythms similar to the rhythms of the Arabic language, until this era became knownas the "Golden Age", but in modern age we observe the goal of the translation insideIsrael is to identify the other, by knowing their civilization and their ideas, in additionto the penetration within the Arab personality and knowledge of internal and externalfeatures, especially that literature is considered as a social document linked to society, and these reasons are all the result of the Arab- Israeli conflict.
