Abstract
I have had always the desire to study the effects of one of the scientists of our virtuous city. I chose Sheikh Hamid Mullah Hweish, may God have mercy on him to study his sermons from rhetorical perspective. His speeches have great scientific impact in this city, its mosques and students of science. To stand at the most important rhetorical methods used in his sermons, I started by looking at the linguistic and idiomatic meaning of the concept of the Arabic sentence, its significance, and informative sentences and their semantics. I have proved through the investigation of his sermons that informative sentences exceed the number of constructive sentences by a great percentage. Also, I dealt with verbal sentences and their meanings, and the beauty they add to the sermons. Past and present verbs are studied. Nominal sentences are also studied with their meanings in the sermons.
