Abstract
This study attempts to focus on one of the important terms of modern criticism, which is identity. The study sheds the light of this concept especially in modern era and post modernism considering comparative literature studies, and orientalism fields. These domains care about studying identity and belongingness in various descents that form societies. Identity concept in the poetry of Namiq appeared in different forms: by representing the other, similar texts, or clear mention. This concept was linked to the question of age, the fatal end, beauty, freedom and art.
