Abstract
In the following pages we try to review, historically, the translation and its processes from Arabic to Spanish in the Iberian Peninsula to make known the stages and conditions through which the Arabic language passed. In addition to the role that the Arabic language played as a bridge between the eastern and the western, especially, being a source language of translation with its fundamental contributions in Western sciences and literature, especially, through translations made to deliver all knowledge of diverse origins to the west. Also, the study is about presenting translation's schools and characters that occupied a more important and decisive place to resurface Arabic language as a source language for translating, studying and research in various feilds of knowlage and for many centures
