Abstract
This paper studies the problem of the ending in Don Delillo's White Noise. Although Don Delillo’s 1984 novel White Noise boosts no formal ending in terms of plot resolution, it manages to achieve a high sense of narrative closure. The novel ends with a short chapter that runs counter to the narrative demands of plot logic and reader’s expectations.
