Abstract
The book, “The Arabic poetry heritage bibliography from pre-Islamic era up to year 1000 A.H” was recently published by Nenava Printing House for the researcher Mohammed Ahmed Shehab, 1st edition, 2011 A.D- 1431A.H. It is a good effort for the researcher in investigating what was published on Arabic poetry heritage (divans, collections, and correction) across years. The researcher divided his book into four chapters. The first chapter is about divans and collections; the second one is about corrections; the third is devoted to poets of tribes, families, kings, and princes. The last is about orientalists’ efforts. This study is considered a critique, a commentary and a correction for what is reviewed in this book.
