Abstract
Al Baha Zuhair frequently celebrates Eygpt in his poetry as a place of beauty and pleasure. Al Hijaz might be the land of his memories and longings but Eygpt remains first and formost of his love. He sings of its beauty and describes its nature excessively. He used rhetorical figures , like metaphor, similes, imagery, extensively to picturize his subject and portray accurately his emotions and experiences. This paper studies these rhetorical styles and their aesthetic ends.
