Abstract
The translation of poem is very important, especially when it enriched with aesthetic and expressive values. The translator may face linguistic, literary, aesthetic, social and cultural problems in his translation. The language problems include organizing or hiding the grammatical structure of some sentences. Aesthetic and literary problems are related to poetic structure, figurative expressions, and sounds. In the poem, the expression of beauty is not achieved by choosing words and figurative language as in novels and short stories, but requires the creation of rhythm, rhyme, meter, expressions and specific structures that may not be present in simple language. In short, the translation of poetry needs more than the translation of other types of literature. These are some of the possible problems when translating a poem. The article deals with one of the stylistic phenomena in poetic translation, it is semantic repetition, which forms one of the poetic characteristics in the structure of the text, which is the spirit is affable. It also leads to the transfer of a semantic value that the poet wanted to present to the recipients through repetition. Therefore, repetition presents a semantic message through a quantitative accumulation of letters, words or phrases.
